Just thought I would make a journal entry about the contest so I can keep it at the top of my page. 
Attention Senya fans!! Announcing the first ever Senya art and short story contest here on Deviant Art!
It is simple! Just draw, paint or write about any characters in the Senya universe and then post it on your DA page. Then link to the image below (or send me a note) and you will be added to the contest. Entries will be judged by myself and are due before March 1st, 2017 (With the winners announced promptly!) If you have any questions just let me know in the comments.
Prizes include original art (A painting for first place and a drawing for second), plus DA points and original pieces of Senya art mailed to your address! Some examples are posted below the contest image. Check out the Senya art folder in my gallery for design references and character types! You can use existing characters like Senya, Emma, Arian, Kaylee, Tulie, Celia or Kalin, or create your own characters. Just have fun and get creative!
- Enter up to five times, any time before then end of March 1st, 2017!
- Check this folder for the contest entries, and be sure to give them some love!

NOTE: I have had some questions on what makes something a "Senya story", given that there is not too much information out there about the Senya universe. What I would suggest is that you can either make a story about an existing character from the comic doing something fun, or pick a type of character (trooper, highborn lady, slaver, nurse, inquisitor etc.) and do a story based on one of them as an original character. Maybe a sexy mini-adventure or a "day in the life" sort of story. If you look at the comic pages or paintings you can get a general idea about the universe (I also have some maps and characters designs in my Senya folder). I admit there is not too much information out there, but that means you can make a lot of it up!

Mural Messages
Hey, fellow DA artists, has anyone else been getting requests to use your art in murals recently? I have had about fifteen variations of this message in recent months. I assume it is some sort of scam, but to what end? Or are they trying to build up AI databases? Message: Hey, I really like your profile and your posts, and if you let me, I would make such an amazing mural out of it! If you don’t mind one of your post could be my inspiring muse for an art project i’m working on for a client. You will totally get paid for it as well as a bonus also get credits.
Seasons Greeting!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everyone out there on Deviant Art, hope you are having a wonderful holiday break! 2023 was a busy year for me at work (with lots of late nights and overtime), so I did not get as much personal art finished as I would have liked. That should change in the coming year, as I recently got laid off (thanks to an overall slowdown in the animation industry). This means I will have much more time to work on more comic pages, commissions, and personal pieces! I am currently working on five big commissions (featuring some epic battles and sexy situations), and I am just about done colouring the last of the Inkvember drawing commissions! With luck all of these will be done before the December's end, and I will open up new commission slots in January 2024! Thanks to all the commissioners out there for your patience, and to all the fans who check out my gallery and leave great comments and suggestions! :D
Computer Crash!
Hi everyone, sorry for the lack of updates in recent days but I was having some serious computer issues, and my machine finally conked out this weekend. I was able to back everything up so nothing was lost, but I have not been able to scan or paint anything all week. My old computer was a 2013 iMac, and they told me it was too old to service, so I will need to get a new machine in the next day or two! Then I can resume work on commission and personal works. Alexi
Art Commissions Closed
Hi gang, After many months of working on commissioned art work , I have decided to take a little break. For the rest of this year I won't be taking any new requests, giving me some much needed time to rest and focus on my personal projects. If you are waiting on a commission I will try my best to finish your image this month (I know some people have been waiting for months now, and I am really sorry for that). I will be messaging everyone today to confirm that you still want your images, and to appologize again for the long delay! From there I will compile a final list and get to work! :D I will be doing my usual Inktober drawing commissions when October comes around, and I am exploring the idea of a Patreon page, where the explicit side the Senya universe could be explored. Let me know what you think! :D
